PJD launches concrete division with new general concrete foreman at its helm. 

​PHOENIX (January 7, 2019) –Paul Johnson Drywall (PJD) is pleased to announce that the firm has launched a new division and now provides single-family and multi-family builders finishing services for exterior decks and balconies by offering waterproofing, flashing and lightweight concrete coverage for patio decks and balconies. This newest offering provides customers the required exterior protections for their projects.

The launch of the new concrete division coincides with the hiring of general concrete foreman Trini Chavoya who is well-known in the industry for his extensive concrete background, to lead the firm’s crews of certified installers. PJD’s crews are trained in the application of W.R. Meadows’ HYDRALASTIC 836 product, which protects and preserves residential and commercial projects. The single component cold liquid, which is ideal for positive side waterproofing for foundations and split slab applications, can be applied inside, outside, horizontally and vertically.  

PJD selected HYDRALASTIC 836 as a preferred waterproofing product because it is fast curing, low odor, solvent-free, resistant to early rainfall and able to withstand temperature extremes without cracking shrinking or slumping. And, because it is suitable for both above and below grade applications, any customer need can be addressed.
