Paul Johnson Drywall Hires 112 New Skilled-Workers, Re-Hires nearly 100 by Offering High Wages and Benefits in Arizona and Nevada

​PHOENIX  (February 29, 2016) -- Paul Johnson Drywall Inc., one of the largest drywall contractors in the Southwestern United States, announced that the firm has hired 112 new and approximately 100 returning workers since January 1, 2016. Crews are being actively recruited for the firm’s Arizona and Nevada markets, where construction activity continues to grow, including some market segments returning to pre-recession levels. Adding these new employees has increased the firm’s permanent full time-crews in Phoenix by more than 20 percent. 

The firm’s new and returning employees include crew leaders and members, joining the firm as long-term, full-time employees. Paul Johnson Drywall is seeing success in recruiting as a result of its policy for offering excellent wages and benefits, including paying the highest wages in its markets as well as providing all employees with paid vacation, healthcare for employees and their families, and bonuses for performance at the end-of-the-year.  The firm’s new employees include primarily experienced craftsman.
