Robert “Cole” Johnson is Selected as “Building Safety Professional” by the International Code Council
PHOENIX (February 18, 2018)— Paul Johnson Drywall, Inc. (PJD) is pleased to announce that Robert “Cole” Johnson, PJD’s president, was selected by the International Code Council (ICC) as a member of its Building Safety Professional group.
The ICC is a professional association dedicated to protecting the health, safety and welfare of the public by making buildings safer. As a Building Safety Professional and president of one of the largest drywall companies in the southwestern United States, Robert “Cole” Johnson is further committing to the high standard for safety and building codes on projects where the company’s crews and superintendents work.
“I understand the importance of having a safety culture, where our employees are safe during their daily work, as well as delivering the most resilient, safe and sustainable structures possible,” said Cole Johnson, president of Paul Johnson Drywall. “A safety-first culture starts at the top, and I am proud to be leading this effort for our employees and customers.”
The International Code Council is an association with over 64,000 members. It is dedicated to developing model codes and standards used in the design, build and compliance process to construct safe, sustainable, affordable and resilient structures. Most U.S. communities and many global markets choose the International Codes (I-Codes). The I-Codes provide minimum safeguards for people at home, at school and in the workplace. The I-Codes are a complete set of comprehensive, coordinated building safety and fire prevention codes. Building codes benefit public safety and support the industry’s need for one set of codes without regional limitations.
